Indirect Tax Manager – Sizewell C Location: London (2 days per week in the office) Salary: Up to £100,000 depending on experience, plus bonus and benefits. Contract Type: Permanent, full time. Closing Date: Wednesday 10 December 2025. About Sizewell C Sizewell C is one of the UK’s largest new megaprojects, building a 3.2‑gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast. The project will generate low‑carbon electricity for at least 60 years, supplying over 6 million homes and supporting around 7 % of the UK’s current electricity needs. You will support the finance team in delivering high‑quality outcomes and driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities Oversee UK indirect tax and Importer of Record responsibilities, ensuring accurate VAT handling. Partner with Supply Chain to optimise VAT efficiency and manage risk. Lead compliance, reporting and governance for indirect taxes. Engage with HMRC and other stakeholders to ensure timely submissions and resolve queries. Provide expert advice on indirect tax legislation and its impact on business transactions. Identify and mitigate tax risks, implementing controls and process improvements. Qualifications Minimum 10 years’ experience in tax, with at least 5 years’ focus on indirect tax. Experience with international indirect tax; customs experience highly desirable. Proficiency in SAP – essential. ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent preferred (though not essential if relevant experience is held). Ability to thrive under pressure, manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities. Strong stakeholder management skills. Call to Action Ready to make an impact?
