Responsibilities As a Sound Designer you will take ownership of a product area, assess its needs, create the necessary sounds, implement them in the engine, and guide any additional work that is required, including recording sessions. Qualifications Ability to produce sounds that inspire and impress Previous experience in a similar role within the games industry and a clear understanding of what is required to make a game sound good – demonstrated in your showreel. An intimate knowledge of sound recording, mixing, editing, etc. with experience recording different material and an understanding of all practicalities involved. Demonstrable experience and knowledge of using Wwise (preferred) or another game sound implementation system (e.g. FMOD, Unity, Unreal etc). Demonstrable experience with implementing Wwise or other middleware content into a game engine, using sound designer facing tools. Experience in creature voice design, gibberish and synthetic voice design is highly desirable. A proactive, creative and collaborative approach. Scripting knowledge is a plus, but not essential to this role. We are accepting applications from people with varied levels of experience.
