Hybrid 2-3 days a week onsite in GuildfordMedia Molecule are looking for a talented sound designer to join our Audio team on a 1 year contract to help with our new title This is without doubt one of the best Audio roles around. Theres huge scope for impact in this role with ownership of audio design and technical features. The sound designer will take ownership of a product area assessing its needs creating the necessary soundsimplementing them in engineand guiding any additional work that needs to be taken on (e.g. handling a recording session)What are we looking forAbility to produce sounds that inspire and impressPrevious experience in a similar role within the games industry and a clear understanding of what is required to make a game sound good - demonstrated in your showreel. An intimate knowledge of sound recording mixing editing etc with experience recording different material and an understanding of all the practicalities involved.Demonstrable experience and knowledge of using Wwise (preferred) or another game sound implementation system. (e.g. FMOD Unity Unreal etc).Demonstrable experience with implementing Wwise/other middleware content into a game engine using sound designer facing tools.
