Overall Purpose Of The Role Support the company in implementing Health & Safety Policies & Procedures and meeting all legal obligations while ensuring the health, safety and well‑being of our workforce. Job Tasks And Duties Adhere and work toward the company core values. Adhere to all company policies and procedures outlined in employee handbook. Provide advice and guidance to managers, supervisors, and employees. Policy setting and implementation. Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety legislation. Conduct H&S inspections and investigations. Reporting. Conduct risk assessments and follow‑up action planning. Audit internal and assist during external audits. Adhere to all health and safety practices. Delivery of in‑house training and booking external training. Any other duties and reasonable tasks within capability as set out by management. Desirable / Qualities Driving license and/or access to transport or ability to meet any driving requirements of the role. Good oral and written communication skills (sufficient level of written and spoken English to maintain safety standards). Ability to work with minimum supervision and cooperate with other team members. Flexibility with working times to ensure consistency of policy implementation and servicing of audits/investigations. Experience / Qualification Degree in relevant discipline preferred. NEBOSH general certificate essential. Relevant training qualification. 3‑5 years previous experience in a similar role (or ability to demonstrate adequate knowledge and ability to fulfil the role). Experience in the food industry will be advantageous.
