London, UK: Producer, Digital Video - CNN Job Vacancy: Producer - CNN Location: London, UK Your New Role… CNN’s Digital Video team creates original video content for all CNN platforms. We write, produce, shoot and edit, working collaboratively across the organization to cover breaking news, trending topics, and important issues. From terrorist attacks to immigration to economic and climate crisis, we tell human-centered stories with the aim of informing, inspiring and engaging the largest global digital audience in news today. The daily news producer is responsible for pitching and producing video news stories that will resonate with CNN’s digital audience. They will monitor the news of the day, pitch story ideas, gather elements, do research, write scripts, edit video in-house, and film with reporters at the office and, on rare occasions, in the field. They will think of sharp angles and creative ways to explain the news. The ideal candidate is a video-first storyteller who thrives in a fast-paced news environment and enjoys the challenge of short-form editing. They are a reporter who values accuracy and fairness; a team player willing to jump in and help at a moment’s notice. They should have extensive experience working independently, writing scripts and editing projects in Adobe Premiere. They can assess the news value of a story and use data to predict audience interest. A love of news and creative mindset are a must, along with an ability to navigate a large deadline-driven organization. This is primarily an afternoon and evening role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
