Location - Lisburn WHAT TO EXPECT DAY TO DAY The successfully appointed technician will work across multiple functions providing technical support and analysis to Product Management, Field Services and Project Delivery.Camlin Rail is offering the successful candidate a unique opportunity to work in a technical discipline, gain exposure and experience to the commercial side of a global Engineering business, by providing an exciting, challenging, and diverse role supporting our global customer base. As a Technician your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: RESPONSIBILITES Assisting with remote and onsite commissioning, troubleshooting and general customer queries Performance analysis, analysing and reviewing system performance providing feedback to the design team. Ensuring System Commissioning documents/reports are updated where necessary. Be willing to work unsocial hours (Overtime) as and when required. Undertake special projects as and when required WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED A minimum HNC or equivalent qualification preferably in an appropriate engineering discipline i.e. electronics, systems engineering, mechatronics, IT, Maths, Technology and Design Work Experience in an engineering environment DESIRED CRITERIA The following skills will be valuable but are not essential: Experience working with Microsoft Office Experience working with a CAD Package (AutoCAD, Solid Edge or similar) Experience with Photography editing software. Experience Coding Work Experience in a customer facing role. Willing to develop the skills required to take on additional responsibilities.
