Pharmacy Technician – Healthcare in PrisonLocation: HMP MaghaberryPay Rate: £13.57 per hour Hours: Full-time (37.5 hrs) 9-5 Contract: 3 months initially Directorate: Adult Services About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join the Healthcare in Prison team at HMP Maghaberry. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-quality pharmacy service within a unique and challenging environment. Key Responsibilities Dispense prescriptions and manage stock using the pharmacy computer system. Support medicines management, including issuing self-administration medication and assisting with controlled drugs. Maintain accurate records on EMIS and ensure compliance with medicines legislation. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimise pharmaceutical care. Essential Criteria Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Student Pharmacy Technician (14 hrs/week or more). BTEC and NVQ3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent). Full UK driving licence and access to a car (reasonable adjustments for disability apply). Desirable Previous experience in a secure environment.
