Overview Community Greenways Programme Manager — Grade: 4b | Location: Hybrid | Contract: Fixed-term (2.5 years). Service: Parks and Streetscene Development. Salford City Council is looking for a strategic leader to manage Community Greenways: Urban Green Revival, an initiative delivered in partnership with Manchester City Council funded through Nature Towns and Cities, a collaboration between Natural England, the National Trust, and The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Responsibilities Oversee the delivery of this urban greening programme. Lead cross-sector partnerships and ensure meaningful community engagement. Manage the project team, including the Community Partnership Coordinator. Work closely with Manchester City Council and other stakeholders to deliver lasting environmental and social impact. Qualifications Senior-level experience in environmental or community programmes. Strong partnership-building skills. Track record of securing and managing external funding. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £5.38 per month.
