Reporting to the Site Engineering Lead your key focus will be to lead on the site’s CI function within the Engineering department, working projects that further improve the reliability and profitability of the company. What You’ll Do Oversee capital project delivery across Lightbody site with a focus on safety, quality, and compliance. Work closely with engineering, operations, and stakeholders to define project objectives, schedules, budgets, and performance standards. Prepare project updates, analyse resource needs, and keep stakeholders informed of changes. Manage budgets, critical paths, and timelines with regular reporting to project leads. Ensure correct Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and contractor control. Support automation initiatives – scoping, implementation, handover to operations. Qualifications Degree or engineering qualification. Experience in project management, project engineering, or project planning, delivering large-scale manufacturing projects over £250k. Strong understanding of CDM regulations, contractor control, and statutory requirements in an industrial environment. Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD and CAD/CAM Circuit Design. Experience in change management, leadership, and stakeholder communication. Familiarity with compliance and quality assurance in the food industry. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with ability to work cross-functionally.
