This is an opportunity for a Solutions Engineer to join our Professional Services team based in Northern Ireland (Derry or Belfast). You will play a key role in supporting our customers as they integrate their systems with the Foods Connected platform. The Solutions Engineer will work directly with customers, internal stakeholders and our automation and integration frameworks to design, implement and optimise scalable integrations that enable seamless data flow. You will lead technical discussions, clarify requirements, guide customers through integration options and ensure delivery excellence across all integration projects. This role is ideal for someone who is technically strong, customer facing and comfortable translating business requirements into practical technical solutions. Essential duties and responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. These requirements are representative of the typical responsibilities of the role and are not an exhaustive list. Lead customer integration calls with technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and confidence in our approach. Run discovery workshops to understand customer needs, data structures and integration workflows. Translate customer requirements into actionable, maintainable solutions using our automation tooling, APIs and other integration frameworks. Liaise closely with internal teams including Product, Engineering and Implementation to ensure integrations support customer goals and platform best practices. Configure, test and validate customer integrations including data mapping, transformation, automation workflows and API connectivity. Troubleshoot integration issues and provide clear, timely solutions to customers and internal teams. Maintain and monitor existing integrations, ensuring they remain reliable and aligned with evolving customer requirements. Document integration requirements, technical specifications and support materials to ensure clarity and repeatability. Provide feedback to Product and Engineering based on customer needs and integration patterns. Continuously improve integration processes and methodologies to increase scalability, quality and efficiency. Qualifications: Education, Training, Experience and Competencies Minimum qualifications BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years in a technical customer facing role such as Solutions Engineer, Integration Engineer, Implementation Engineer or similar. Experience working with SaaS platforms and system integrations. Technical skills The Solutions Engineer should have experience with: APIs and integration protocols such as REST and SOAP. Data formats including JSON, XML and CSV. Integration tools, automation platforms or iPaaS solutions. Understanding of SQL and relational data structures. Experience collaborating with engineering teams and reading technical documentation. Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
