Enrollment Outreach Officer – GEDU Global Education Department: Student Recruitment Location: Birmingham Type of Contract: Permanent About Us GEDU Global Education (formerly GBS) is a higher education provider offering sector-relevant courses across ten campuses in London, Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester. Working in partnership with several leading UK higher education providers, we deliver vocational, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in finance, accounting, business, construction, tourism, healthcare and more. The Role As a Student Recruitment Officer, you will promote the institution to prospective students and support them through the admissions process. Your primary goal is to promote the Student Referral scheme and attract talented individuals, guiding them toward enrolling in our academic programs. Responsibilities Develop and implement student recruitment strategies to achieve enrollment targets and attract a diverse applicant pool. Serve as the primary contact for prospective students, responding to inquiries via phone, email, social media, and in-person meetings. Provide detailed information about academic programs, admission requirements, scholarships, campus facilities, and student life. Conduct presentations, campus tours, and information sessions for groups and individuals. Use CRM systems to track and follow up with prospective students, ensuring timely and personalized communication. Assist prospective students with the application process, including reviewing applications and guiding on required documents. Collaborate with the admissions team to review applications, conduct interviews, and participate in the selection process. About You Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Knowledge of the education landscape, admission processes, and financial aid options. Proficiency in using digital platforms, social media, and CRM systems for recruitment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel for recruitment events as required. Familiarity with data analysis and reporting is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships. Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and passionate about helping students achieve their educational goals.
