With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.Based in the UK, this is a senior Rail Asset Management leader role to help develop and deliver our UK Rail asset management strategy, lead a range of asset management consultancy projects, and help develop value propositions in our rail business. You will work with our global teams to deliver sustainable and predictive asset management solutions for asset-intensive organisations, enabling operational, tactical and strategic decision making in a continually changing environment. You will report to the Business Director for Rail S & I and collaborate with the Head of Highways Asset Management to ensure a coherent Asset Management offer across Mobility.This is a maturing team with opportunities for growth and career development for individuals with a growth mindset.Role AccountabilitiesLead the development and implementation of the year-on-year Rail Asset Management strategy and delivery of the Asset Management portfolio for Rail through all stages of Arcadis Way (MtO, PtW and DtR).Sustainable growth in revenue and headcount of the Rail Asset Management team in line with business plan targets.Development and delivery of the Rail Asset Management Net Revenue Target.Manage the Asset Management project portfolio with our Global Excellence Centres.Define and develop specific Arcadis Rail Asset Management skills and capabilities to take to market and recruit to increase capability and capacity in this service line.Co-create the UK Mobility asset management strategy and annual asset management plans by account, working across Arcadis.Lead asset management client engagement, develop value propositions and tenders in the rail market, and support the wider business in pursuing strategic opportunities.Line management and career development of direct reports in line with the asset management strategy.Apply asset management process skills to oversee delivery of projects on time, within quality and budget targets, and exceed client expectations.Support Global capability, particularly in relation to ISO55000 and risk/maintenance advisory.Thought leadership and external presentations at industry events.Qualifications & ExperienceSenior leadership experience in asset management in a consultancy, client or regulator environment, developing and implementing asset management strategy and plans.Combination of asset management process skills, rail infrastructure end market experience, asset class expertise, and/or asset management transformation programmes.Strong links to the industry, clients and profession of Asset Management to support capability and growth of Arcadis Asset Management business.Experience leading and delivering asset management projects, resolving strategic, tactical or operational challenges (e.g., Asset Management strategies, Plans, RAMS, O&M planning, decision support tools, regulator reviews, operational readiness, asset data quality, AM maturity gap analysis).Tender management and bid experience.Good understanding of risk management (e.g., FMECA, Bow Tie, Fishbone), ISO55000, asset management, maintenance engineering (e.g., RCM) and/or Six Sigma tools.Chartered or Fellowship status; recognised Institute of Asset Management certifications (or working towards certification).Why ArcadisWe empower everyone to be their best and take a skills-based approach to career development, carving paths that maximize impact for colleagues, clients and society.
