Join our client’s dynamic team as an Education Support Assistant, where you’ll work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored academic and emotional support to students with additional needs, whether in mainstream or specialist education settings.This is a rewarding opportunity to empower students, promote independence, and ensure every learner feels heard, valued, and supported. Please note this role is to start on 1 December.Job ResponsibilitiesDeliver targeted support to individuals and small groups based on personalised support plansPromote learner voice and independence across all aspects of college lifeCollaborate with academic staff and Learning Mentors to monitor progress and improve outcomesSupport attendance and punctuality interventionsAssist with educational activities, including trips and residentialsAdvocate for students and help them develop self-advocacy skillsAdapt teaching materials and provide scribing / reading assistance where neededHelp students plan for life beyond their current programmeWhat you’ll needA confident, approachable personalityStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in customer service or a learner-facing role (ideal but not essential)A genuine passion for education and student wellbeingIn-date Enhanced DBS or on the update systemWhat’s in it for you?Paying £15.00 per hour weekly payMonday to Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm (1 hour lunch) Fridays off Term time onlyLocated in GraysImmediate startTemporary position, potentially ongoingHoliday AccrualFree onsite breakfasts #J-18808-Ljbffr
