LOCATION: Livingston Designer OutletSHIFT PATTERN: 4 over 7, 48 hours per weekPAY RATE: £12.78 per hourMain Duties & Responsibilities:Role Overview And PurposeThe CCTV Officer is accountable to the Facilities Manager for the support, management, and delivery of security within the shopping centre environment. They will ensure exemplary standards of security and customer service is always provided to the client and visitors to the site.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all control room procedures in line with the CCTV codes of practiceSupport and provide guidance to other site-based Centre staffSupervise Security Officers to ensure that company procedures are always followed and adhered toLiaise closely with statutory authorities and security manager with dealing with incidents and the provision of informationContinuous management and monitoring of CCTV, Fire Panels, Intruder Panels, and associated specialist security equipmentContinual management and monitoring/policing of site radio systemsIntelligent understanding of human behaviour, monitoring and surveillance of suspect individuals, logging, and reporting incidents in line with site/company policiesControlling and prioritising incidents ensuring all key personnel are always kept fully informed and agreed escalation procedures are followedDiligent management and maintenance of records/reference materials including Health & Safety recordsIncident reports, and site occurrence bookEnsuring strict compliance to GDPR and associated regulationsManage and monitor access & egress to and from the service yards and management officeEnsuring that the shopping centre is a safe and non-threatening environment for all customers and site staffSupport the Facilities Manager in ensuring standards are continually reviewed and improved uponProvide regular liaison and timely feedback to the management team on all aspects of servicedelivery, implementing effective solutions and corrective action to enhance the serviceProvide professional advice and support to the Security Team Leader in security related mattersMaintain standards and welfare amongst all team member accordance with the company policies and valuesReport to the Facilities Manager any event that may be detrimental to the fulfilment of the provision of security on siteSupport the Facilities Manager to ensure the necessary security audits are undertaken and any noncompliance highlighted and managed to completionCover security patrols as and when requiredManage excellent relationships with our client, our suppliers, and other partnersInteract with all visitors/tenants within the shopping centre, delivering first class customerfocused serviceBe professional, pleasant, friendly, courteous, and helpful always whilst carrying out duties to thehighest standardEnsure exemplary standards in personal grooming, strictly adhering to the site uniformrequirementsDeal efficiently and effectively with emergencies including but not only, fire and bomb scaresensuring the Centre Team are always kept fully informedAid third party contractors/visitors ensuring all site procedures/policies are adhered toEnsure a timely response to all security issues and eventsBe available to cover at least 1 additional shift per month as required to cover absenceAny other reasonable duties as requested by your line managerRequired Skills And ExperienceExcellent organisational skills with the ability to balance competing priorities and workloadsExcellent written and verbal English communication skillsAble to work unsupervised and take responsibilityAble to remain calm under pressureAdaptable and flexible in approach to work requiredWillingness and ability to work as a member of a teamReport writing/Presentation skillsExcellent observational skillsQualificationsHolds a current SIA CCTV License a SIA front line licence is desirableBenefitsWe're proud to offer a great range of benefits including:24/7 GP: Both you and your immediate family can speak to a UK-based GP from the comfort of your own homeMental Health support and Life Event CounselingGet Fit ProgrammeFinancial and legal supportCycle to work schemeAccess Perks at Work, our innovative employee app where you can find:Perks: discounts, gift cards, cashback, and exclusive offersLife: Search for resources and tools on topics ranging from family and life to health, money and workSupport: Online chat or telephone service for urgent support in a crisisFor More Information About ABM's Benefits, Visit OurAbout ABM:ABM (NYSE: ABM) is one of the world's largest providers of integrated facility, engineering, and infrastructure solutions.
