Peripatetic Music Teacher – Cumberland Council We are seeking a music teacher for the Cumberland Music Service, a Local Authority service delivery area within Cumberland Council. Positions are contracted for Centrally Employed Teachers. Base Pay Range Salary will be based on skills and experience; minimum Unqualified Teacher Status to UPS3, on Standard Teachers’ Pay and Conditions. Location: Cumberland Hours: 16h 15m (0.5 FTE pro rata – 32.5 FTE teacher’s hours) Contract: Permanent Responsibilities Teach full class, small groups, and 1‑1 tuition. Participate in developing the Carlisle Music Centre and after‑school performances. Optionally offer other instruments such as recorder or ukelele to whole classes or choir. Qualifications & Experience Minimum Unqualified Teacher Status to UPS3. Standard Teachers’ Pay and Conditions eligibility.
