Job Description Our client is a notable water treatment company that is looking for a self‑motivated, multi‑skilled Water Treatment Service Chemist based in York (applications accepted from Tadcaster, Malton, Easingwold, Boroughbridge and surrounding areas). Key Responsibilities Visiting sites and carrying out chemical analysis on steam boilers, cooling towers and closed systems, complying with L8. Working with a variety of commercial, industrial and manufacturing clients. Updating information – log books. Providing consultancy advice as and when required and dealing with issues appropriately and effectively. Liaising with clients on a regular basis. Qualifications Strong educational background in chemistry, technical, management and accounts. Methodical and proficient. Hold some form of qualification – City & Guilds would be beneficial. Good analytical skills. Experience working on various industrial systems. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Office package. Hands‑on experience with cooling towers, steam boilers, etc. Fully conversant with the water treatment industry and Health & Safety regulations. Attributes Versatile, flexible, with a good work ethic and the ability to manage workload within timelines.
