This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in food manufacturing, working with a wide range of high‑quality fish products. Payrate: £12.55 per hourShift: Rotating weekly (05:00‑13:00 / 13:00‑21:00 Monday to Friday) Your Key Responsibilities Support the safe, efficient production of food products, following all relevant procedures and standards. Carry out a variety of key production tasks, including feeding materials, packing into inner and outer cartons, box making, and palletising. Prepare and handle fresh and frozen fish and ingredients in line with product specifications. Perform line feeding, decanting, weighing, and mixing of ingredients. Complete polybag sealing, cartooning, lidding, collating, and packing (individual and catering packs). Stack and palletise boxes, while maintaining the flow of ingredients and packaging on the line. Ensure equipment is functioning effectively and raise issues when necessary. Adhere to all hygiene, safety, and quality standards. Escalate concerns to the Advanced Operative to support achievement of the shift production plan. The Ideal Candidate Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Practical, dependable, with good attention to detail. Ability to work as part of a team in a busy production environment. Awareness of hygiene, quality, and safety requirements in food manufacturing.
