Job Purpose : We currently have vacancies for Production Operatives at our busy South Quay site.

As a Production Operative you will work within a team to ensure that the line runs at optimum efficiency with mínimal downtime. This includes, but may not be limited to:

- The servicing of and the feeding on to the line.
- Weighing and packaging of both fresh and frozen products.
- Working within Good Manufacturing Practices - i.e.; safely, hygienically and through correct quality procedures.

Key Accountabilities:

- Handling and preparation of fresh and frozen fish and ingredients
- Line Feed, decanting, weighing and mixing of ingredients.
- Polybag sealing, cartoning, lidding, collating and packing individual and catering packs.
- Stacking and palleting boxes and servicing the line with ingredients and packaging, in line with relevant SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) and product specifications.
- Ensure that all equipment is operating effectively and take corrective action where necessary.
- Ensure you work and adhere to all quality, hygiene and safety requirements.
- Inform the Advanced Operative of any issues which will prevent the production plan being achieved for the shift.

Skills and Experience Required : Previous experience working within a food manufacturing environment would be beneficial but is not
essential as full training is provided.
Key Challenges : To contribute to the overall line production efficiencies by ensuring consistent working to product specifications.
