In this role, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end production of statutory accounts across our insurance and non-insurance entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement in our reporting processes.You’ll thrive here if you’re curious and confident — someone who doesn’t stop at “I don’t know”, but instead finds the answer, connects the dots and drives things forward.What you’ll be doingYou’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting that supports Group objectives and tells our financial story with clarity and impact.Lead the end-to-end preparation of statutory accounts for all insurance and non-insurance entities.Ensure reporting is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time in line with IFRS and regulatory standards.Support the delivery of consolidated financial information for Group reporting.Oversee the year-end reporting timetable, coordinating activities with the EXL team and internal stakeholders.Provide input on complex accounting areas such as goodwill impairment, onerous contracts, and detailed account analysis.Review, challenge and interpret financial variances to provide meaningful insight.Manage verification processes for financial and non-financial disclosures, liaising with external auditors.Build strong relationships across Finance, Risk, HR, and Aviva to support a smooth reporting cycle.Drive process improvements and strengthen reporting controls.Our hybrid model offers a 'best of both worlds' approach.
