External Reporting Manager

Whether youre already part of DLG or thinking about joining us youll have the chance not only to be recognised for your skills but also to build on them and be empowered to do your very best.Were looking for a driven External Reporting Manager to join our Finance this role youll take ownership of the end-to-end production of statutory accounts across our insurance and non-insurance entities ensuring accuracy compliance and continuous improvement in our reporting processes.Youll thrive here if youre curious and confident someone who doesnt stop at I dont know but instead finds the answer connects the dots and drives things forward.What youll be doingYoull play a key role in delivering accurate timely and compliant financial reporting that supports Group objectives and tells our financial story with clarity and impact.Lead the end-to-end preparation of statutory accounts for all insurance and non-insurance entities.Ensure reporting is accurate compliant and delivered on time in line with IFRS and regulatory standards.Support the delivery of consolidated financial information for Group reporting.Oversee the year-end reporting timetable coordinating activities with the EXL team and internal stakeholders.Provide input on complex accounting areas such as goodwill impairment onerous contracts and detailed account analysis.Review challenge and interpret financial variances to provide meaningful insight.Manage verification processes for financial and non-financial disclosures liaising with external auditors.Build strong relationships across Finance Risk HR and Aviva to support a smooth reporting cycle.Drive process improvements and strengthen reporting controls.Our hybrid model offers a best of both worlds approach.
