We’re looking for a dynamic Operations Resource Team Manager to lead a team of up to 25 field-based staff who deliver essential infrastructure projects, including new connections, reinforcement works, and network restoration across low to high voltage systems (up to 33,000 volts). You will: Leading and motivating your team to deliver outstanding customer service and meet regulatory standards. Overseeing daily operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Managing team performance across safety, compliance, training, and welfare, using internal systems to monitor and report progress. Driving productivity improvements while maintaining quality and compliance. Handling core people management responsibilities such as absence, holidays, and resource planning to ensure delivery targets are met. You will have: Proven experience in managing operational teams, ideally in a field-based or industrial environment. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. A proactive approach to performance management, with confidence in using data and IT systems to drive results. While industry knowledge of electricity distribution is beneficial, we welcome candidates from other sectors with transferable skills and a passion for leading teams in a fast-paced operational setting. This role involves travel across various locations to support business needs. To enable you to fulfil these responsibilities, as a role requirement, the company will provide access to a vehicle for work-related travel. The requirement will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and if the company car policy criteria are met, there will be an opportunity to join the company car scheme. Provision of a company car or cash allowance does not form part of the contractual terms and conditions of employment for this role. A valid driving licence is essential.
