Clinical Nurse Educator – Children and Young People We are seeking a highly motivated, committed, and passionate individual to take up the post of Clinical Nurse Educator within the Children and Young Peoples Division. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with students and newly qualified nurses, supporting the wider team in ensuring they are knowledgeable in the learning needs of new staff and students. Candidates should also possess qualifications to demonstrate they are working at this level and have at least 2 years experience as a band 6. As a member of the Educational Team, you will act as a role model and leader to nursing staff and have a responsibility for facilitation and implementation of the Trust's educational programmes, working with all levels of clinical staff and ensuring ongoing communication with internal and external links. The post holder will use innovative and creative teaching and training skills to focus on developing clinical skills and ensuring competency and evidence‑based practice is embedded within Children and Young People clinical areas, including orthopaedic ward, private patients unit and outpatient departments. Key Responsibilities Facilitate and implement the Trust's educational programmes. Provide training and support to new nurses and students. Develop and deliver innovative teaching and training for clinical skill competency. Maintain communication with internal and external agencies to promote learning opportunities. Qualifications & Experience At least 2 years of experience as a band 6 nurse. Relevant nursing education qualifications. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
