The Practice Join EKRH's hospitalist team delivering advanced medical care and collaborating with ICU, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams. The program links with UBC faculty, supporting mentorship and teaching opportunities. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient care for admitted patients, from acute ailments to chronic conditions. Oversee and address healthcare needs, develop and orchestrate complex treatment plans. Collaborate with nurses, specialists, surgeons, and allied professionals to deliver quality care. Engage in Physician Quality Improvement (PQI) projects and contribute to real change. Support mentoring and immersive clinical teaching in partnership with UBC. Compensation Annual income for a full‑time hospitalist: approximately $336,162.00, with MOCAP level 2 pro‑rated for non‑continuous availability. Benefits and Incentives Vacation leave with flexible schedule. Retention premium 14%. Retention flat fee $21,696. Relocation funding: $9,000 (BC), $12,000 (Canada), $15,000 (outside Canada). Recruitment incentive: $20,000 prorated for part‑time physicians. RCME CME funds: $1,320 up to 2 years; $3,520 during 3rd–4th year; $5,720 after 4 years. Quality incentive up to an additional 10% of total hours. Coverage incentive up to an additional 10% of total hours. Volume incentive: 20% rate premium on base APSA rate during periods of overcapacity.
