Our client is a privately held company headquartered in the United Kingdom & the USA, with offices worldwide, and software products are used daily by millions of people in more than 100 countries worldwide with 200+ people in the UK and 1,800 globally.You will be based in our client's new prestigious office, a short walk from Windsor train station, and due to the company's great culture and office buzz, you will be working in the office 3 days per week.In the role, you will get involved with designing cage, rack and server layouts and ensuring the ongoing provision of space, power and cooling in support of existing and forecasted solutions whilst working with engineering/architecting teams to design solutions to maximise performance, efficiency and operability of hosted solutions.As a senior Linux System Administrator, you will support all areas of hosted services, ensuring the timely resolution of incidents and/or problems affecting hosted solutions and deploying approved changes and/or updates as required.The core technical environment:Linux deployment and management experience with RHELPuppet used for Automation – any other experience is good i.e. Ansible, ChefVMware 6 deployment and management experience (100s of virtual servers)You will be working in a mission-critical production environment. For success in this role you *must* have experience working with ‘live’ production environments as it is *not an option* for their servers to go down.
