Salary £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Our Lincolnshire based client has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for keeping advanced systems running smoothly.
THE ROLE
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll need to ensure the service schedule is adhered to, and all work is carried out to the required standard, as well as:
* Carry out routine, preventative, and reactive maintenance of all systems and equipment.
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults to ensure continuous operation of automated and environmental control systems.
* Inspect and maintain structural components.
* Assist with installation, upgrades and test of new systems or equipment.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure smooth operations.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, inspections and repairs.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance system performance and sustainability.
* Participate in on-call rota and emergency repair coverage when required.
* Proactive attitude ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues by adhering to company H&S policies and procedures.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal Maintenance Technician will have proven experience in mechanical, electrical or facility maintenance ideally within a horticultural, food production or industrial environment, as well as:
* A proactive attitude and commitment to health and safety.
* Able to operate to high standards of compliance.
* Commitment to undertake continued training and development.
* Proactive and flexible approach to work.
* Willing to take responsibility and ownership for tasks.
* Ability to work under own initiative but also as part of the wider team.
* Professional manner and effective communication skills.
