Site Operative (Freelance) Location: Cheadle, SK8 1JR Start Date: 11 November 2025 Duration: Until 28 November 2025 Employment Type: Freelance / Agency Hours of Work: Full Time 45 hours per week Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 07:30‑17:30 Rate: £190 per day - Inside IR35 Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and reliable Site Operative to support ongoing works at a busy construction site in Cheadle. The successful candidate will assist with general site operations and machine handling, contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of site activities. Key Responsibilities Carry out general labouring and groundworks duties on site. Operate machinery including dumper and roller safely and effectively. Support the site team with daily tasks, including material movement and site preparation. Follow all site health and safety regulations and report any hazards immediately. Work collaboratively with supervisors and other operatives to maintain a productive site environment. Requirements Valid Dumper Ticket Valid Roller Ticket Cat & Genny training (beneficial but not essential) Proven all‑round construction site experience Ability to work as part of a team and follow instruction Strong awareness of health and safety on site Additional Information PPE must be worn at all times.
