What is the role? Enable the best patient care from the moment someone walks into one of our practices until the point they leave. Support our Dental professionals and provide necessary chair‑side assistance, enabling them to deliver the highest level of patient care. Earn while you learn as an Apprentice Dental Nurse. Qualifications you will achieve You will achieve a Level 3 qualification following an 18‑24 month training programme. Before the end‑point assessment, you must achieve Level 2 English and Maths (equivalent to GCSEs at grades A* to C) if you have not already done so, and provide evidence to confirm this. What will you learn? Oral anatomy and physiology, respiratory and circulatory systems. How infectious diseases are transmitted and prevented. Dental materials, equipment and resources. How to deal with medical emergencies. Legislative compliance and regulatory requirements. Clinical skills. Health promotion. Patient care and management.
