Client Service Director, Advertising Syneos Health – London, United Kingdom Reporting to: Managing Director Overview Lead the Advertising practice within Syneos Health’s integrated healthcare communications agency. This role combines strategic direction, financial stewardship, and people leadership to deliver high‑quality advertising solutions across the UK and Europe. Responsibilities Drive financial performance by working with the Managing Director and Financial Director to meet revenue and margin targets. Build and maintain a high‑performance culture, coaching and developing the London Advertising team and ensuring efficient resource allocation. Develop and deliver the advertising business strategy in partnership with the EU Head of Business Development and the Managing Director. Lead business development efforts including new‑business pitches, client relationship management, and procurement negotiations. Oversee financial management: forecasting, budget monitoring, capacity planning, and financial reporting to senior leadership. Drive operational excellence across the team, setting best‑practice standards and ensuring quality throughout client engagements. Manage talent: conduct appraisals, provide coaching, support training initiatives, and participate in recruitment of new hires. Collaborate closely with Finance, HR, and external resources to meet client needs and campaign objectives. Qualifications & Desired Skills Visionary leadership with a proven ability to inspire and motivate teams. Strong financial and commercial acumen. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and decision‑making skills. Experience managing multi‑faceted advertising operations in a fast‑paced environment. Strategic planning, forecasting, and problem‑solving capabilities. Experience leading cross‑functional teams and driving business growth. Knowledge of European healthcare markets and regulatory environment advantageous.
