Bangor Cathedral are seeking an Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running of our daily life and mission. You will have a balance of practical organisational, business and financial skills with a deep appreciation for the spiritual, cultural, and civic role of the Cathedral. You will have a heart for community engagement, and a commitment to inclusivity and hospitality as well as proven leadership skills. Working closely with the Dean, you will take strategic responsibility for operations, governance, maintenance, finance and income generation. This pivotal role will focus on improving efficiency, developing new commercial and funding opportunities and managing resources and budgets effectively. This is a challenging context requiring resilience and tenacity as well as change management skills. This is a demanding but deeply rewarding opportunity to make a lasting difference - helping to secure the Cathedral’s ministry for future generations and supporting its work in community engagement, excellence in worship, and sharing Christian love.
