**Sales & Sales Support**

Helix Operations Limited provides access solutions worldwide for security, defence, and rescue operations. We supply equipment, systems, and training to enable clients to work with speed, ease, and safety when accessing objectives across a wide range of environments; mountain, urban or maritime.

This role is to provide a sales & sales administration function for the Sales Manager and Sales Team. The role will require the successful applicant to master a wide range of administrative support tasks before becoming increasingly involved in sales. The sales role will involve supporting and growing our B2B business and ensuring consistent customer contacts are maintained.

Administration duties will include:

- Order processing
- Stock Management
- Customer Liaison

The Sales function will involve:

- Market research
- Co-operation with the Marketing Department to optimise market contact
- Contacting new customers to establish leads and re-establishing contact with lost or cold customer leads.
- Managing customers and optimising customer service and satisfaction.

It is a fundamental requirement in both roles to provide first-class customer support.

The role involves working in a small team where there is a heavy workload at times and a willingness to work hard with efficiency (and good humour) is needed. The position will be most suited to a person who is adaptable, can use initiative, and has a strong drive to help us meet customers’ expectations. It is a position in a fast-growing company and the ideal person will be looking to grow with the company, this position has the potential to become more sales orientated with time spent away from the office with customers.

**Key Tasks**
- Updating and maintaining the CRM system
- Coordinating with and assisting the sales team.
- Working with Purchasing and Production to ensure customers’ orders are fulfilled on time
- Reviewing, processing, and prioritising orders.
- Handling general queries from customers and suppliers.
- Processing invoices and payments.
- Performing basic clerical duties such as faxing and photocopying.
- Performing market research to help populate CRM system.
- Contacting new and existing customers in support of the sales team
- Assist with other tasks as needed.

**Essential to your success in the role will be the ability to demonstrate**:

- Proven track record of at least 2 year’s sales Administration experience as a telesales representative.
- Previous sales administration and sales experience
- Excellent talent to interact with people in a positive and courteous manner
- Aptitude to follow processes and procedures accurately.
- Computer literacy and numerical skills
- The ability to prioritise and meet customer deadlines
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- The ability to work quickly, always maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
- Self-motivation, initiative, and a high level of energy

**Hours**

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Starting

**Salary**: £19,500.
