The Host/Hostess also answers phones in a polite and prompt manner with appropriate scripting and records all reservations into the reservation system. The Host plays an integral part of the flow and pace of our dining service.As a Host we would love you to haveAt least 1 year of front of house experience in a fast-paced hospitality environmentAvailability to work evenings, weekends and most holidaysExcellent written and verbal English language communication skillsAnswer phones in a prompt manner with appropriate scriptingGreet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areasExceptional attention to detailMaintain contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and customers to ensure that dining details are handled properly, and customers' concerns are addressedDirect guests to cloakrooms and waiting areas such as Bar and/or loungeMust have a professional and well-groomed appearance, as he/she is the first impression of the restaurantAbility to multi-task and follow directionsFlexibility in scheduling strongly preferredYour RestaurantDuck & Waffle offers a playful take on traditional British cuisine with broad European influences emphasizing local, rustic, seasonal and sustainable ingredients.
