Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders, alongside confident leadership, planning, and organisational abilities to meet deadlines and financial commitments. Strong awareness of broadcasting trends and issues, strategic thinking around content commissioning, and a commitment to diversity in content aligned with BBC diversity strategies. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL CRITERIA An understanding of BBC editorial policy, fair trading, and the financial implications of decisions. Demonstrate a deep understanding of Asian Network's audience, culture, heritage, and music, with awareness of associated complexities Maintain strong knowledge of the wider audio and music industry, including specialist expertise and relationships in Asian music and media.
