OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer to join our team of dedicated educators. The ideal candidate will have both industry experience and a Level 3 trade qualification, providing our students with practical insights and theoretical knowledge essential for success in the field. A teaching qualification is not essential, and the successful candidate will be supported to gain these qualification alongside their employment., A Level 3 trade qualification in Carpentry and Joinery.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver engaging and innovative teaching materials for Carpentry and Joinery courses.Conduct practical demonstrations and workshops to enhance students' hands‑on skills.Provide individualised support and guidance to students to foster their learning and development.Assess student progress through various methods, including assignments, exams, and practical assessments.Collaborate with colleagues to continually review and improve the curriculum to meet industry standards and trends.Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment conducive to student success.QualificationsLevel 2 Maths & English or equivalent.Recognised Teaching Qualification (or be willing to work towards one).Substantial industry experience in carpentry and joinery, with a strong understanding of current practices and techniques.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students from diverse backgrounds.Commitment to upholding high standards of professionalism and integrity.A Level 3 trade qualification in Carpentry and Joinery.About Reaseheath CollegeReaseheath College is a forward thinking and dynamic College providing an excellent educational experience to over 4,500 students a year.
