Joiner/carpenter

Crystal Care Solutions is a specialist, independent social care organization who operate a number of Residential and Care Leaving units. We are recruiting a skilled joiner on a **six month fixed term basis**to fit new fire doors and frames in line with new regulations across our circa 20 Residential Homes based in Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and North Wales.

The rate of pay will be £150 per day working generally between Monday and Friday 9am until 5pm and will report to our Maintenance Co-Ordinator.

A company vehicle, full training on new regulations and basic tools, uniform and PPE will be provided.

**Essential Requirements**

Full UK Driving Licence

CSCS Card

Experience of joinery/carpentry work

Experience of fire door fitting/repair work

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication skills

NVQ Level 2 in Joinery, or equivalent

**Desirable Requirements**:
Knowledge of fire door regulations and compliance

Experience of maintenance within Children’s Homes/Nurseries/Schools/other Regulated settings
