A co‑educational private day and boarding school in the village of Kimbolton, Cambridgeshire. Catering for about 1200 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner with a good amount of hospitality throughout the year. The location is split between the senior school and Prep school down the road. This is a 7 day a week operation so work patterns would be 5 over 7 days. Responsibilities Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage Excellent customer service skills Great team player Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems. Operate industrial dishwasher Qualifications & Competencies Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential. Can do attitude. Organisation Skills. Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English. Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
