A reputable Tier 2 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join the delivery team on a landmark £110M residential new build scheme in Greenwich. This iconic 30-storey development will set a new standard for quality and design in the area. With piling works already complete, the project will be breaking ground in September and progressing quickly into superstructure.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for groundworks and frame works in the initial stages, before moving into overseeing key envelope and fit-out elements. This is a high-profile role requiring strong leadership, quality control, and technical know-how across complex packages including RC frame, unitised curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, bathroom pods, and scaffolding.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of groundworks and RC frame packages from inception to completion.

Manage subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to specification.

*

Oversee installation of unitised curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, and bathroom pods during later phases.

*

Implement and monitor QA processes, ensuring all works meet the highest standards.

*

Coordinate with design, engineering, and commercial teams to resolve technical and programme issues.

*

Chair site meetings, produce progress reports, and maintain accurate site records.

*

Drive health, safety, and environmental compliance across all activities.

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on high-rise residential or mixed-use schemes.

*

Strong track record with RC frame construction and complex groundworks.

*

Knowledge and experience of unitised curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, and bathroom pod installations.

*

Excellent understanding of QA procedures and documentation.

*

Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

*

Relevant construction qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, First Aid)
