In this role, you’ll support screening activities through day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.  To be successful as a Senior FCS Analyst, you should have experience with:Attention to Detail & Organization, ability to manage complex screening processes accurately and efficiently.Quality, Risk & Control Awareness, understanding of risk frameworks and compliance controls.Financial crime background with an understanding of sanctions, anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, and Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs).Some other highly valued skills may include:Work effectively with colleagues to achieve shared goals. Stakeholder Management, communicate clearly and manage expectations across teams. Reporting & Analysis, deliver accurate reports and identify trends to support decision-making.You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.This role has the option to work from either Glasgow or Bournemouth. Purpose of the roleTo support Screening with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution, making decisions in line with comply with relevant regulatory and industry standards. AccountabilitiesSupport with day-to-day screening initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution through lending technical expertise.Execution of screening checks on customers, transactions, and other activities to identify potential risks and comply with regulatory requirements.Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate screening processes.Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in screening processes.Development and implementation of screening procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.Development of reports and presentations on screening performance.Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in screening Services.Participation in projects and initiatives to improve screening efficiency and effectiveness.Analyst ExpectationsTo perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard consistently driving continuous improvement.Requires in-depth technical knowledge and experience in their assigned area of expertiseThorough understanding of the underlying principles and concepts within the area of expertiseThey lead and supervise a team, guiding and supporting professional development, allocating work requirements and coordinating team resources.If the position has leadership responsibilities, People Leaders are expected to demonstrate a clear set of leadership behaviours to create an environment for colleagues to thrive and deliver to a consistently excellent standard.
