The successful candidate will have experience in cleaning and laundry in a public setting, and demonstrate compassion and commitment to delivering high-quality service to residents.About the roleYour focus as a Housekeeping Assistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home. You will operate according to the standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained. Other responsibilities will include carrying out all cleaning duties, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings, and ensuring residents are treated with dignity and respect.Job responsibilitiesCarry out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.Understand the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.Ensure that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.About usAvery Healthcare is one of the UK's largest providers of luxury elderly care homes.
