Greater London, United Kingdom Orbital Full time

Join to apply for the VP of Product role at Orbital Mission 🚀 We’re on a mission to make real estate transactions smarter, faster, and friction‑free. Real estate is the world’s largest asset class, yet the legal processes and tools behind it remain slow, manual, and under‑invested. Lawyers must review dense documents line by line and piece together information across silos, all while clients demand faster, more transparent due diligence. 🤖 That’s where we come in. Orbital Copilot is the AI assistant built exclusively for commercial real estate law. Developed with former practicing real estate lawyers, it accelerates complex due diligence by up to 70% while delivering legal‑grade precision. 🤝 We’re trusted by leading firms such as Goodwin, BCLP, and Ropes & Gray to remove the busywork so legal teams can focus on applying sharp legal judgment, delivering standout client service, and closing deals faster. 💡 Working at Orbital means joining a team that’s reimagining how real estate transactions get done—moving fast, working collaboratively, and giving people the ownership to make a real impact from day one. Role Overview Until now, our CTO has acted as the most senior leader for the product function. With 3 squads and more to be formed, GTM expansion in the US, and ARR targets doubling annually, we need a VP of Product to help scale and professionalise. Responsibilities Develop and communicate a clear product strategy tied to ARR and growth targets. Translate diverse information (Slack threads, customer input, internal feedback) into structured, actionable roadmaps. Champion an AGI‑inspired product vision that leverages the latest model capabilities. Balance near‑term revenue‑driving initiatives with longer‑term bets. Build a scalable system for product feedback, prioritisation and roadmap communication. Own all PMs (currently 4, growing quickly) and design the evolving org structure. Build, mentor, and inspire a high‑performing PM team, introducing roles like researchers or product ops as needed. Model a scalable product structure over the next 6–12 months to avoid unnecessary layers. Grow future leaders within the product org. Serve as the "voice of Product" within the executive team; collaborate with VPs of AI, Engineering, Design, and Legal Engineering. Partner with GTM leadership (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) to align product with commercial strategy during US expansion. Work closely with AI and Engineering peers to embed cutting‑edge AI into the roadmap. Smooth friction points between Product, Legal Engineers, and LSAs. Act as a sounding board for the CTO and VP of AI, challenging and bringing external perspective. Bring frameworks, best practices, and lessons learned from scaling journeys elsewhere. Qualifications Proven experience scaling a product org from Series A/B to C+; grew a team from ~4 PMs to 10+ high‑performing PMs. Track record of scaling revenue from ~£10 M ARR to 5–10× growth. Background in B2B SaaS; LegalTech not required but valuable. Preference for experience with Agentic AI products. Strong strategic thinking and prioritisation; can filter noise into actionable roadmaps. Excellent leadership and team‑building skills; able to hire, mentor, and manage a scaling team. Strong charisma and communication; can sell ideas internally and motivate teams. AI‑first mindset; conviction about AI/AGI’s role in product innovation and keeping up with new models. Comfortable being a thought partner and challenger to the CTO. Nice to have Experience in LegalTech or regulated industries. STEM background (preferred, not required). Experience with international scaling, particularly US market entry. Benefits Matched pension contributions and equity options in a fast‑growing start‑up. Flexible working hours and location. 25 days paid holiday (plus bank holidays). Professional equipment and personal development budget including training opportunities. Cycle‑to‑work scheme. Security 🔒 Security is everyone’s responsibility at Orbital. We ask all team members to follow our security policies, complete regular awareness training, and handle sensitive data with line with ISO 27001 standards. Diversity & Inclusion 💡 We’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We especially welcome applications from people who are traditionally underrepresented in tech. If you don’t meet every requirement or the right role isn’t listed yet, we’d still love to hear from you. Pay Range 💰 This hiring range is an estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.
