As a DS Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our Scanning Centre. You’ll partner with the DS Supervisor to plan, administer, monitor, and optimise operational performance, ensuring seamless daily operations in Scanning, Indexing, Records Management, and Storage. Key Accountabilities Strategically manage the Scanning Centre in compliance with the company’s policies and vision. Oversee digitisation, receiving, warehousing, distribution and operations. Set up layout and ensure efficient space utilisation. Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures. Adhere to all digitisation, warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements. Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security. Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage systems. Liaise with clients and suppliers. Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results. Train, coach and motivate the DS team. Produce reports and statistics regularly. Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided. Add value to IM Customers with Continuous Improvement. Understand and implement the company’s safety and security policies, processes and procedures, including conducting health and safety risk assessments within the department. Comply with statutory reporting for occupational health and safety. Experience and Skills Experience with a digital transformation, document logistics or relatable industry is essential. Strong people management skills. Operational leadership experience. Excellent communication skills. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
