As an ambitious professional with technical and delivery experience, you will have a significant background in wastewater modelling. Your role will involve working with colleagues in the Egis Water team and collaborating with peers across all disciplines to help us build and deliver models to clients and to develop existing and new relationships with clients.What you’ll doWork with our teams across the UK, Ireland and France to develop and deliver a range of wastewater modelling services to our clientsProvide technical and expert advice to clients, manage and deliver projectsSupport business development opportunities, contribution to tenders and proposals,Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners and stakeholdersCollaborate with wider Egis teams to develop market leading and innovative services to our clientsParticipate in industry events, seminars and conferences. Showcase Egis technical capability and project experience.Key AttributesHands on, delivery and client focusedEnergised with a positive and strong work ethicExcellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsAbility to work in multi-disciplinary and remote teamsInnovative mindset, always looking to improve, automate, streamline, learn and developQualificationsBSc/Eng or MSc/Eng in Civil, Water or Environmental Engineering disciplinesObtained or near to obtaining professional qualification with CIWEM or similar.Demonstrable client, contractor or consultancy experience in UK Water SectorDemonstrable knowledge of regulator (e.g. Environment Agency), modelling requirements and technical standardsKnowledge of scripting / automation (e.g. Python, Ruby etc) advantageousExperience developing, verifying/calibrating and checking 1D and 2D hydraulic modelsKnowledge of working with integrated models (network/open channel/surface) and modelling to support DAPsGood understanding of hydrological assessment and analysisFlood risk modelling, assessments and mappingInterest in and knowledge of water quality models, which could include physio-chemical, biological, bacterial or chemicalExperience using standard industry software in the UK e.g. InfoWorks ICM, Flood Modeller, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, MIKE, Delft3D, SIMCATAdditional informationPlease upload your Resume, Cover Letter and any other supporting documentation where asked within your application.
