To meet our growing UK business needs and future development aspirations we are looking for a Senior Wastewater Modeller to provide technical leadership and delivery of wastewater network projects in the Manchester First Street office.

The successful person will become part of a respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects and international opportunities.

**Primary Job Responsibilities**
- Drive health and safety in all aspects of our projects
- Provide management and technical leadership to a team of modellers delivering wastewater network projects, within agreed timeframes and budgets to exceed client’s expectations.
- Plan, programme and co-ordinate project delivery
- Building, verifying, calibrating and maintaining network models
- Using network models for planning, operational and design purposes
- Implementation of industry leading solutions and development of innovative solutions.
- Management and technical supervision of a team of modellers, ensuring technical excellence and best industry practice
- Delivery of technical reports and management of the check and review process.
- Managing multi office modelling delivery teams across the UK & Ireland
- Providing guidance and mentoring to our overseas based teams
- Project Management experience.
- Contribute to the preparation of cost estimates
- Interacting directly with various personnel in our client’s organisations, including face to face progress meetings.
- Supporting management in developing relationships and sales with existing and new clients

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:

- Excellent knowledge in the water industry with a focus on wastewater network solutions
- Proficiency in wastewater modelling software such as InfoAsset Manager, and InfoWorks CS / ICM, ArcGIS, MapInfo
- Strong technical ability in the outline design of wastewater schemes; sewage pumping systems and treatment facilities.
- Expertise in 1D and 2D modelling
- Excellent knowledge in current industry best practice and able to actively contribute to innovation in this field of expertise
- Good supervising and leadership skills
- Ensuring project financial and schedule performance.
- Experience of liaising with clients and managing projects
- Chartered or working towards membership of a professional body
