Sewell Wallis Recruitment is pleased to be working with a global Law firm that is looking to recruit a Billing Administrator to join their Glasgow team.The ideal Billings Administrator will be a switched-on and driven individual who ideally has experience in accounts.What will you be doing?Requesting Ad-hoc proformas and generating reportsAmending proformas upon request and inputting billing guide amendments to the pre-billing system in line with the Partner/Associates' requirementsReview time narratives for accuracy of recording, identifying and correcting typosForwarding billing guides to alternative reviewers and editors as required in the pre-bill systemDealing with the volume of invoices & billing-related queriesLiaising with the Working Capital Support team to assist in the resolution of complex queriesPreparation of narratives and fee breakdowns as requiredPreparation of covering documents for dispatch on generated bills for Partner/Associate reviewFacilitating the dispatch of bills to clients in line with the client's requirements, where necessaryLiaising with the eBilling team to provide billing guidelines and portal requirementsRequesting Credit Notes/re-issue instructions via Finance workflow and other post billing queriesLiaising with other finance teams to ensure the accurate and timely drafting and preparation of billsWhat skills are we looking for?Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with clients, Partners and other stakeholdersAble to work within given timeframes and be able to anticipate likely workflowsAbility to consistently produce accurate work with exceptional attention to detailSelf-motivated, proactive and able to prioritise and manage own workloadAbility to use initiative, but also work well within a teamExperience in a partnership or professional services environment with a finance backgroundAnalytical skills to resolve queriesProficient in MS Excel and WordWhat's on offer?Competitive basic salary (reviewed annually)* Flexible, hybrid working policy* Generous bonus scheme* Up to 25 days holiday (rising to 28 days with service)* Holiday exchange scheme* Private medical insurance* Enhanced parental leaveApply for this role below or contact Lewis for more information.To apply please send your CV, quoting our reference and specifying which website you saw this position advertised on.
