Senior Engagement and Communications Officer (Events and Exhibitions) Apply for the Senior Engagement and Communications Officer (Events and Exhibitions) role at Care Quality Commission. Key Details Grade C: £34,890 (National) or £40,746 (London) with additional £600 homeworking allowance. Contract: 25‑hour job share, fixed term/secondment until March 2027. Location: Home or office based, flexible with frequent travel to exhibitions and events across the country (≈2 days per month). Closing date: Tuesday 9 December 2025 at 11.59 pm. What you’ll do Deliver the national exhibition programme showcasing CQC’s regulatory findings to thousands of stakeholders. Organise CQC’s presence at major health and social care exhibitions such as The Care Show and Best Practice, ensuring maximum engagement and value for money. Lead the launch event for high‑profile CQC reports, coordinating with parliamentarians and senior leaders. Plan and deliver an annual programme of national events and exhibitions. Manage budgets and contracts for events and exhibitions. Coordinate logistics and staffing for CQC’s presence at external events. Develop and maintain event content for CQC’s website and intranet. Work with colleagues to ensure events support CQC’s strategic priorities. What we’re looking for Experience managing large exhibitions and events from start to finish. Proven ability to manage budgets and work with external suppliers. Experience creating and sharing messages in a complex environment.
