This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people by supporting their development and improving their ability to participate in everyday activities.This part-time position offers both flexibility and professional fulfilment, making it ideal for those who wish to balance their career within a vibrant and supportive community.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a defined paediatric clinical caseload, delivering a high-quality occupational therapy service.Undertake comprehensive assessments of children’s occupational performance using both standardised and non-standardised methods.Collaborate with parents, carers, teachers, and other professionals to provide informed recommendations.Design, implement, and evaluate tailored treatment programmes and intervention strategies.Deliver therapy sessions (individual or group-based) to address functional needs across home, school, and community settings.Assess and recommend small aids and specialist equipment in line with service criteria, including seating, bathing, and toileting aids.Provide written and verbal advice to support children’s participation and independence in daily routines.RequirementsCurrent registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).Demonstrable experience within paediatric occupational therapy.A valid UK driving licence with the ability to travel across the Bromley community.Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical reasoning skills.Benefits of Locum WorkCompetitive Pay: £30.00 per hour, reflective of your expertise.Flexibility: Choose working hours that complement your lifestyle.Professional Growth: Opportunities to enhance your paediatric therapy skills in a varied and rewarding environment.Networking: Work alongside a wide range of healthcare professionals within the local community. #J-18808-Ljbffr
