**THE OPPORTUNITY**
- Assist (and where appropriate, lead) on transactions with supervision
- Be responsible for drafting legal advice for clients with supervision and working with senior associates on more complex legal advice
- Be able to provide legally sound but practical and commercial advice tailored to the client
- Adopt a client-facing role for a broad range of clients
- Take an active and client-facing role in business development planning and execution
- Implement strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise in order to cope with conflicting demands and meet deadlines
- Supervise and develop Trainees and Paralegals
- There will also be opportunity for secondments with our strategic clients

**The following are some examples of the broad range of work undertaken by the TMT &, Data team**
- Sky on its carriage arrangements with BT and Virgin Media
- Telefonica: Cornerstone; Beacon 5G; Shared Rural Network; Toronto; merger of O2 and Virgin Media Spectrum issues
- NEOM on a range of matters including TV & film production work, telecoms infrastructure matters and general IT transactions
- Dyson on its global advertising deal with IPG and technology matters
- STV on its arrangements with ITV
- British American Tobacco on a range of matters (advertising, tech and general commercial)
- KFC on advisory work in relation to its new marketing campaign
- Dentsu on an audit and associated contractual work related to its client deals for creative services
- OneWeb: on a range of satellite connectivity capacity arrangements, as well as joint ventures and regulatory analysis
- Transport for London on a wide range of technology-driven deals (Oyster, Congestion Charge, iBus2, Underground Radio)
- Ministry of Defence on the transformational re-platforming of the entirety of its IT systems across all of the armed forces globally
- Google across UK and EMEA on the roll-out of its technical infrastructure, including support on its data centre builds, fibre and submarine cable deals

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- 2 - 3 years PQE
- Strong academic history
- Experience in a leading private practice firm or an in-house environment
- High level of commercial awareness
- Excellent drafting and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Desire to be part of a busy, friendly team and work within in a non-hierarchal environment
