**Quantitative Researcher Crypto (Python/Java/Crypto)**

They are on the lookout for a talented Senior Quantitative Researcher to come on board within their Front Office trading team and work closely with both the desk and Quantitative Developers.

**What the Quantitative Researcher Crypto role will involve (Python/Java/Crypto)**:

- Conduct quantitative finance research with a focus on order book microstructure and core pricing.
- Manage all aspects of the research process, including methodology selection, prototyping, back testing, and performance monitoring.
- Fast, iterative project lifecycles working with Quant Devs to bring research to production.
- Evaluate new datasets for alpha potential.
- Implement models in Java and Python.

**Requirements of the Quantitative Researcher Crypto Role (Python/Java/Crypto)**:

- PhD in finance, computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or other quantitative discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in a relevant quantitative research role.
- Strong programming skills in Java and Python.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct research utilizing large data sets.
- Demonstrated ability to being research ideas to production.
- Willing to take ownership of his/her work, working within a small team.

This role is a critical hire and as such they are willing to be very flexible in what they offer to get the right person on board.
