**Purchasing Manager - East Sussex (hybrid working) - £32-38K**

I'm recruiting for a Purchasing Manager to join a huge travel brand based in East Sussex. You will manage the sourcing and end to end and in life contracting of multiple transportation services within a designated geographical area and be fully accountablefor negotiating rates, terms and conditions with suppliers.

**Purchasing Manager Responsibilities**
- Identify and source suitable suppliers and products / services, negotiate market leading rates and special offers or exclusive deals with key suppliers throughout the contract life.
- Ensure all suppliers are re-contracted as appropriate within set deadlines to ensure a continuity of supply.
- Instigate, investigate and resolve any supplier related internal issues with cross department colleagues.
- Be mindful of product development opportunities within areas of control and be prepared to champion new product developments internally.

**Purchasing Manager Requirements**
- Experience of working in travel / tourism.
- Experienced in contracting or account management.
- Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Astute commercial awareness.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
- Self motivated / self starter and team spirited.
- Strong inter departmental and networking skills.
