Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Frome, who are actively seeking to recruit a **Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer** to join the team on a permanent basis.

**What you will be doing**:
Working for a leading manufacturing site in Frome. Your primary goal is to provide both reactive and planned maintenance to ensure productivity across the site both **Mechanically and Electrically**.
- Compliance with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policy requirements.
- Assist in the daily operations of a busy machining and manufacturing site.
- Respond to maintenance, breakdowns, and project work in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Engineering Manager, Production Manager, Quality Manager, Process Engineers, and Production Operators.
- Identification of continuous improvement of plant.
- Effective logging and documentation of reactive and planned maintenance tasks.
- Communicating at all levels, electronically and verbally.
- Support with Planned Maintenance during Shutdown periods.

**What you will need to succeed**:

- Time served apprentice with a minimum of ONC in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics & "on-the-job" experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Full exposure to maintenance (reactive and non-reactive).
- Conversant with electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic systems.
- Driven, confident and have a "CAN DO" attitude.
- Experience of CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems e.g., Maximo)
- Exceptional fault-finding skills

**What you will receive in return**:

- Salary: £40,000 per annum
- Shift based and is a rotating 4 on, 4 off pattern alternating days and nights (6-6).
