**Business Development Manager - Sponsorship Sales**

- leading B2B events company is looking to hire a highly driven Business Development Manager to sell sponsorship across their B2B Telecoms B2B events portfolio.

The successful Business Development Manager will be selling a mix of bespoke sponsorship packages, content and digital advertising to senior executives globally.

This role demands a highly articulate, sales driven individual who enjoys building relationships and has a real hunger to close high value sales.

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities - Business Development Manager - Sponsorship Sales**
- Generate new business, grow your sales pipeline and introduce new clients
- Selling high-value sponsorship and digital media packages
- Manage and grow relationships with key accounts by planning and tailoring their marketing activities using a consultative approach with the intention of increasing their spend
- Pitch clients over the phone, via digital meetings and face to face
- Attend events - overseas travel may be required
- Become an expert in the market, work hard to develop your knowledge and keep up to date with the telecoms industry. Utilising both internal and external resources.
- Achieve revenue targets

**Skills & Experience - Business Development Manager - Sponsorship Sales**
- Experience in B2B Sponsorship Sales ideally gained in a commercial B2B events environment such as conferences, training, exhibitions, tradeshows etc.
- Degree educated ideally
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
- Successful track record in achieving revenue targets
- A consultative, solutions led sales approach is essential
- Team orientated and able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
